In deciding & selecting the types of flowers you need, there is no right or wrong answer. It will all depend on the occasion or your purpose. For special occasions & serious home gardeners, fresh flowers are a fantastic choice. For indoor home & office accents, realistic fake flowers would probably be your best bet.
